The morning's to-do list bled into lunch, lunch got skipped or eaten standing up, and now your brain feels like a browser with forty tabs open. You're not sick. You're not exhausted exactly. You're just overloaded. That's the moment I made Tend & Mend for.

There's a statue outside the Johnson County Courthouse here in Warrensburg that some people walk past without a second thought. Old Drum. A foxhound frozen in bronze, chin up, ears soft, looking like he's waiting on somebody to come home.

I want to start this blog the way I want The Herbal Nook to feel: honest. Not perfectly polished, not hiding the hard parts. Just real. So this first post is not a business announcement. It is our story, and it starts long before there was ever a business to announce.
