A Small Update That Feels Like a Big Deal

I never thought a piece of paperwork could make me a little emotional, but here we are.

Still Rooted in Warrensburg

If you read our first post, you know where

this all started. A health journey I didn't ask for. My husband who has always taken his tea seriously. A move to a town that finally

felt like home. A farmers market that welcomed us before we had anything to sell.

We are still there every week, at the Warrensburg Farmers Market, talking to the same regulars, and meeting new ones. That part of our story has not changed, and honestly, it is not going to. That market is where The Herbal Nook learned how to be a business. It is where I learned what people actually wanted, and talking about herbalism. Our journey continues.

A Season of Learning

This first season at the market taught us more than I expected.. I learned which teas, spices, and herbs people came back for again and again, more than I would have guessed.

Somewhere in the middle of all that, an online order or two turned into a steady trickle. People who had just moved to Warrensburg, from our regulars building connections every week. We still had one more hurdle to jump.

What's New

That is what has changed. The Herbal Nook is very soon going to be FDA registered as a facility for resale.

In plain terms, that means we have met the standards required to sell and ship our herbs, teas, and spice blends beyond the farmers market table, out across the United States. It is not a glamorous milestone. There were no fireworks, just an email and a lot of paperwork. But it represents something real: we built this thing carefully enough, and honestly enough, that it could grow past our little corner of Missouri.

I want to be clear about what this is and is not. It is not us leaving Warrensburg behind. It is not some big leap into becoming a different kind of business. It is one more step in the same slow, careful climb toward that little brick and mortar shop I keep dreaming about out loud in these posts.

"It is not us leaving Warrensburg behind. It is one more step in the same slow, careful climb."

What It Means for You

If you are one of our neighbors, nothing changes. Come find us at the market, same as always, same table, same blends, same conversations.

If you are someone who has followed along from farther away, wondering if you would ever get to try what we have been building, this is your answer. Yes. Soon, you will be able to order the same teas and herbs our Warrensburg neighbors have come to trust, no matter what state you call home.

We built this business on something small and personal: a cup of tea, a dandelion root, a town that felt like ours. Growing it wider does not mean growing it apart from that. It just means more people get to sit at our little table, even if that table is now a package on their doorstep.

With roots and gratitude, Winnie The Herbal Nook
